In this episode we talk with Corinne Kazmierczak, who’d been away from college and rowing for nearly a decade when she decided to pursue an exercise science and psychology double major at the University at Buffalo. Corinne juggles school and a 3-year-old son, and has a goal of becoming a collegiate rowing coach.

Corinne also lives with anxiety and PTSD, and as a young rower found that participating in the sport she loved provided some relief and helped her build confidence. We delve into the effects of anxiety on sport performance, the benefits of rowing for the anxious mind, and how well-informed coaches can help support rowers with anxiety to approach training and competition with plans and perspective.
